Hubungan Interaksi Sosial antara Perilaku Phubbing Pada Siswa SMA Budhi Warman 1 Jakarta Timur
This research is motivated by the phenomenon of increasing phubbing behavior among teenagers, especially high school students, which is thought to be influenced by the low quality of social interaction. The research method used is a quantitative method with a correlational design. This research was conducted at SMA Budhi Warman 1 East Jakarta with a population of all students in the school and the total sample taken was 214 students using a random sampling technique. Data collection was carried out using two scales, namely the social interaction scale developed based on Soerjono Soekanto's theory with a reliability of 0.864, and the phubbing behavior scale developed based on Karadag theory with a reliability of 0.787. The requirements test was carried out using a normality test with a result of 0.12 and not normally distributed and a linearity test with a result of 0.80 > 0.50 which contained a linear relationship between the social interaction variable (X) and phubbing behavior (Y). Data analysis was carried out using non-parametrics. The results of the research show that there is a significant relationship between social interaction and phubbing behavior among students at Budhi Warman 1 High School, East Jakarta.
